Solving simultaneous equations:
We can substitute and solve, stack and solve, or use the graphing calculator and find the intersection of the two functions. My old TI-85 had a simultaneous equation solver.
You could even write a program to solve them for you.
A friend decided to get a math certificate to keep his teaching job. He practiced for weeks but was having difficulty with solving some of the problems in the allotted time.
He knew he wasn't going to pass until he looked a bit closer at his calculator.
It turns out that his calculator, legal for the test, was capable of solving almost all of the problems required. He passed the test and was certified to teach math, but never learned how to do the most difficult problems. The makers of the test aren't dumb - they know this is possible.
My students know how to communicate and use social media with their devices but they generally need a lot of help to use any of their devices to PRODUCE.
Research. Watch some videos. Learn the capabilities of your device.
If you think it should be able to do something, it probably can - many greater minds than yours have built and tested it. This applies to electronic and mechanical devices.
And HACKING is always possible if you don't have the thing you think you need. I've made tools when I didn't feel like buying an expensive one for a single use.
The internet and YouTube can help you a lot. You're probably not the first pioneer.
