Butterfly Belt

I got a Carhartt belt with good leather that was way too long at a thrift shop.  Then I picked up a butterfly belt and decided to combine them.

The Carhartt leather is excellent and the butterfly buckle isn't bad.

Fresh razor blades do quick work of leather.

Turns out the Carhartt leather was about 6" too long so I clamped it in a vise to bend it.  A bit too much I might add.  There are now tiny cracks at the outside of the new bend.

A monster drill with a tiny drill bit makes it easy to sew.

Completed stitching.

Belt Model.
